About Us
HepID Diagnostyka i Terapia (Hepid) was founded by Krzysztof Tomasiewicz, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Medical University of Lublin, and Sławomir Kiciak, MD, PhD, assistant professor at this Department. Both doctors have second degree specialisation in infectious diseases, and expertise in treatment of various infectious and liver diseases. For over 15 years, they have been involved in antiviral therapy of patients infected with hepatitis B and C viruses. In addition, the broad spectrum of infectious diseases and diagnostic problems, which are of interest to these physicians, assures a holistic approach to all health issues related to infectious and liver diseases.
Hep – hepatology, or the science of the liver and its diseases, ID – infectious diseases – this name defines the subject of our interest and the scope of health services provided.

As employees of the Department of Infectious Diseases, we have many years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases, infectious diseases including neuroinfections, and tick-borne and parasitic diseases. We provide therapeutic and prophylactic services.
Do you have a problem with your liver?
We diagnose liver diseases both infectious and of different etiology (fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, toxic liver damage, non-alcoholic liver disease). We provide diagnostics and treatment of chronic viral hepatitis B and C.
We offer the latest therapies used in the treatment of HCV in Europe and the USA.
Are you planning an exotic trip?
We will help you protect yourself against diseases that occur in other countries.
We offer medical advice before departure (vaccination and malaria prophylaxis) and when you return.
We will help you choose the most effective prevention.
Are you planning to become pregnant or are you pregnant?

We consult pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant for the presence of infectious diseases that can cause pregnancy complications (toxoplasmosis, cytomegaly, rubella, HSV infection, hepatitis B and C, HIV).
Have you had contact with a tick?
We provide diagnostics and treatment of tick-borne diseases (Lyme disease, tick-borne encephalitis, anaplasmosis). Our treatment is based on the recommendations of recognized Scientific Societies.
We do not use the ILADS method!
